Paper-Cuts presents Artificial (Live A/V), Kia, Moopie, Orb at Quadraphonic Club + Funktion-One Sound

This March we host Artificial (Live A/V) in celebration of 30 years of Sub-Vocal Theme Park - the seminal 1996 debut from Australian electronic pioneers B(if)tek, soon to be reissued on vinyl for the first time via Portal Replica.

Originally recorded in a suburban garage and self-released at the height of the mid-’90s electronic surge, Sub-Vocal Theme Park fused analogue experimentation with playful, dance-driven rhythms, carving out a singular voice in Australian electronica. As one half of B(if)tek, Nicole Skeltys (alongside Kate Crawford) shaped a sound that was futuristic, immersive, and mischievously off-centre - balancing curiosity, humour, and feminism with a wink and a bleep.

For this show, Nicole presents a curated live A/V set drawing from released and unreleased material across the Artificial / B(if)tek catalogue, with special guests Kia, Moopie, and Orb for an extended ballroom session.

Held at Quadraphonic Club in Brunswick from 7pm till late. with 4-point Funktion-One sound system.

First Release tickets are available now via Humanitix.
